This is the crispiest, spiciest, homemade fried chicken I have ever tasted! It is equally good served hot or cold and has been a picnic favorite in my family for years.

Ingredients

1 (3 pound) whole chicken, whole
1/2 tsp Poultry seasoning
Refrigerated
2 Egg yolks
Baking & spices
1 1/8 tbsp Black pepper, ground
4 1/3 cups Flour
1 1/2 tbsp Garlic salt
1 tbsp Paprika
1 tsp Salt
Oils & vinegars
1 qt Vegetable oil
Liquids
1 1/2 cups Beer or water
